A LIGHT FOR THE WORLD disability sports project in Bolivia

Self-sustained living and joy of life

In 2015, 2,225 children received rehabilitative care, and we provided assistance for 965 children attending school. In the field of eye health, at our instigation the incidence and causes of avoidable blindness in rural regions have been studied with a view to offering targeted assistance in future.

For the first time ever, the Bolivian Ministry of Health has employed a special coordinator for eye health. Through our programmes we reached at total of 32,958 people in Bolivia last year.
