Dr Nidhi Singal is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Education and Fellow at Hughes Hall, Cambridge. Her research interests include addressing educational inequity and improving the quality of teaching and learning processes for the poorest children in South Asia and Africa, with a particular focus on those with disabilities. She has worked on various research projects supported by international organisations.
Nidhi has published widely and serves on various editorial boards. In 2008–09, she was the Assistant Editor for the International Journal of Educational Research. She graduated with a Masters and a PhD in Education from the University of Cambridge in 2004. Before coming to Cambridge, Nidhi trained as a clinical psychologist at the University of Delhi, India.
